9 Thanksgiving cocktail recipes to pair with your signature dishes

Thanksgiving Day is here, and whether you’re celebrating with a peaceful supper with family or a get-together with friends, you can get in the festive mood with some insanely good cocktails. Liven up the dinner table with some fall-inspired margaritas, ciders, and more. You may be feeling stuffed throughout all the foodie festivities but these cocktails will provide the perfect balance with your signature dishes.. Read on for some Thanksgiving recipes that will impress guests.

Spiced Apple Cider Mule

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Reposado
  • 1 tsp. Spiced Apple Cider Powder
  • 1 Lemon Wedge
  • Top with Ginger Beer
  • Pinch Nutmeg

Preparation:

  1. In a mixing glass combine the first three ingredients with ice, shake and serve over the rocks, top with ginger beer and sprinkle nutmeg.
  2. Garnish with lemon and mint.

Prickly Pear Mule

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Añejo
  • 1 oz. Fresh Prickly Pear Puree
  • ½ oz. Agave Nectar
  • 2 Lemon Wedges
  • Top with Ginger Beer
  • Chipotle Powder

Preparation:

  1. Pour all ingredients into a copper mug over  ice.
  2. Top with ginger beer, and garnish with mint and chipotle powder.

Pumpkin Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Reposado
  • 1 oz. Bols Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
  • 2 oz. Orange Juice
  • ½ oz. Lemon Juice
  • Dash of Cinnamon Powder

Preparation: 

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine all the ingredients with ice.
  2. Shake and serve over the rocks. 
  3. Rim glass with cinnamon sugar, and garnish with slices of lime and orange.

Little Bit Bittah

Ingredients

  • 12 parts Reyka Vodka 
  • 9 parts Grapefruit Juice 
  • 3 parts Grenadine
  • 3 parts Campari

Preparation:

  1. Shake and strain into iced rocks glass.
  2. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.

Carpe Dia Punch

Ingredients:

  • 6 parts Milagro Añejo
  • 3 parts hibiscus tea
  • 3 parts ginger beer
  • 3 parts fresh lime juice
  • 1 part blackberry syrup
  • Sage leaves
  • Blackberries

Preparation:

  1. Pour all ingredients, except ginger beer, in a punch bowl over a block of ice.
  2. Top with ginger beer and stir intermittently.
  3. Garnish with blackberries and sage.

Jubilee Punch

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz Hendrick’s Gina
  • 2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
  • 2 oz Lemon juice
  • 2 oz Elderflower Cordial
  • 12 oz Sparkling apple cider
  • Slices of fruit (apples, lemons, cucumber) to garnish

Preparation:

  1. Combine ingredients in a punch bowl over a block of ice.
  2. Ladle punch over ice a few times, garnish and serve.

Irish Tea-Se-Tea

Ingredients: 

  • 2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original 
  • 1.5 parts Irish Breakfast Tea 
  • .75 part lemon juice 
  • .75 party simple syrup 

Preparation:

  1. Mint to garnish.
  2. Add all ingredients to a punch bowl.
  3. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.
  4. Serve over ice in a wine glass. 

1800 Cranberry Orange Maple

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. 1800 Reposado 
  • ¼ oz. maple syrup
  • 1 bar spoon cranberry compote
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • Orange oil  

Preparation:

  1. Press orange peel in maple syrup in the bottom of a rocks glass.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir with a large ice cube.
  3. Garnish with an orange twist and star anise pod.

1800 Iced Chai Latte

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. 1800 Añejo
  • 3 oz. chai tea
  • 1 oz. coconut milk
  • ¼ oz. agave syrup
  • Lemon oil 

Preparation:

  1. Combine 1800 Añejo, chai tea, coconut milk and agave syrup in cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  2. Strain over fresh ice in a highball glass and express a lemon twist over the top.
  3. Garnish with a clove-studded lemon wheel.
