Celebrate National Tequila Day by indulging in these tasty cocktails

If you’re like us, you don’t really need a reason to enjoy some tequila. However, just in case you do, whip out the shots and lime wedges and say cheers to National Tequila Day. Celebrate this day with your loved ones by sipping on some tequila-infused cocktails on Saturday, July 24. From classic margaritas to refreshing fruit drinks, we have drink recipes to make your National Tequila Day a success.

Paloma Bianco

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Tequila Blanco 
  • 2/3 oz. Luxardo Bitter Bianco 
  • 2/3 oz. Fresh pink grapefruit juice 
  • 1/3 oz. Fresh lime juice 
  • ¼ oz. Luxardo Maraschino Originale  

Preparation

  1. Shake & strain and garnish with grapefruit zest & Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherry Glass

Pomegranate Ginger Bubbly

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can Spicy Ginger Volley
  • ½ oz. triple sec
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Splash of pomegranate juice
  • Orange and/or lime wheel
  • Pomegranate seeds

Preparation

  1. Combine 1/2 can Spicy Ginger Volley, ½ oz. triple sec, juice of ½ lime into a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly.
  2. Once shaken, pour into glass and add a splash of pomegranate juice.
  3. Top with orange and/or lime wheel and pomegranate seeds. 

CALIROSA Rosita Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Calirosa Rosa
  • 2 oz Lichyee Pure
  • .5 oz Lemon
  • .5 oz Lemon Peel Syrup (or
  • simple syrup with lemon peel)
  • Red pepper salt rim

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients into  the shaker and shake.
  2. Rim the  glass with red pepper salt.  
  3. Add the mix into the glass  and put one big ice inside. 
  4. Garnish with a pink petal. 

Glass: Old fashioned 

Ice: Big cube Garnish. Pink petals

Cutwater Spirits Tequila Grill & Chill

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Tequila Blanco 
  • 2/3 oz. Luxardo Bitter Bianco 
  • 2/3 oz. Fresh pink grapefruit juice 
  • 1/3 oz. Fresh lime juice 
  • ¼ oz. Luxardo Maraschino Originale  

Preparation

  1. Shake & strain and garnish with grapefruGrill pineapple, ginger, and cilantro in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add tequila, lime juice, agave, and ice.
  3. Shake until cold.
  4. Strain over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with a piece of grilled pineapple and a cilantro sprig.

Tanteo Tequila Grapefruit Hibiscus Marg

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Tanteo Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz. Hibiscus Tea
  • 1 oz Fresh lime Juice
  • 1 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 3⁄4 oz. Agave Nectar

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Double strain into a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a dried orange wheel

Los Arango El Verdito

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 oz. Los Arango Blanco
  • 3⁄4 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 3⁄4 oz. Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Lime Juice
  • 1⁄4 oz. Agave Nectar
  • 1⁄4 oz. Green Chartreuse

Preparation

  1. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake Vigorously.
  3. Strain the cocktail, garnish with candied ginger and a lime round.

Corralejo Re’al

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 oz. Corralejo Reposado
  • 3⁄4 oz. Coconut Cream
  • 1 oz. Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Pineapple Juice

Preparation

  1. Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a lime round and pineapple leaf.

Flecha Azul El Coco Carlos

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Start by muddling an orange wedge in your shaker, then combine the rest of the ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously.
  2. Strain into a salted rocks glass over one giant cube.
  3. Garnish with an orange spiral.

Cucumber Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 parts milagro silver
  • 1 part fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 part agave nectar*
  • 4 watermelon chunks
  • 2 cucumber slices

Preparation

  1. Muddle watermelon and cucumber in a boston shaker, add remaining ingredients.
  2. Shake and strain over fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with tajin and watermelon and cucumber spears.
