Listen To Your Heart’s star Rudi is making a breakthrough and cutting off toxic relationships – EXCLUSIVE
Rudi might have had a dramatic ending in the show Listen To Your Heart, but she won thousands of hearts while on stage. Though the 25-year-old artist performed with Matt Ranaudo, her talent and charisma are as strong while singing solo. Rudi demonstrated on the show her strong voice, powerful vocals and was known as one of the most well-liked contestants. After the reality TV show, the Mexican-American singer has proven that you don’t need a man or a partner to succeed in life. All you need are your talents, disposition and friends.
Stupid Boy is Rudi’s new R&B track about ‘love and loss’ and how to cut ties with toxic relationships. The San Antonio native revealed that her inspiration came after breaking up with Matt but it also means letting go of expectations. The talented singer came up with the idea with “a couple of friends,” before the release of Stupid Boy. However, the actual meaning is about her past experiences with toxic people. Rudi also admitted she is working in future lyrics and shared the next one will be “a happier song.” “I am working on one maybe about someone new in my life,” added the singer. And we are not opposed to more romantic tunes in 2020.
Before landing the role in the show, Rudi confessed she was thinking about quitting her music career. “I just didn’t want to do it anymore,” adds the singer who admitted having an untrustworthy manager during the early stages of her career. Six months after moving to L.A. Rudi landed the role on the show and the rest is history. Though more obstacles and setbacks came along the way, the singer is putting Listen To Your Heart in the past and opening up to new opportunities.
This is only the beginning of her solo music career. Not only has Rudi proven to be a captivating stage presence but she has also demonstrated impressive vocals. While she continues to release new songs throughout the remainder of 2020, Rudi hopes to one day collaborate with “Drake” on a song. Her latest oeuvre includes original single “Smile” written about her grandma and “Hate LA” proving you don’t need a man to have a powerful voice.
