Target will also spotlight 20 new Black-owned or founded brands, making substantial progress toward the company’s goals to spend $2 billion with Black-owned businesses by 2025. Almost all of the new beauty items fulfill Target’s Clean criteria for ingredient disclosure, bringing their clean beauty range to more than 8,000 goods.
This is not the first time the retailer has shown its supports towards the Latinx community. During Hispanic Heritage Month, Target dropped Más Que, a hub which highlighted exceptional Latino-owned businesses and companies. Their goal was to pause, reflect, and appreciate the Latino community’s cultural influence, contributions, and multidimensionality at Target. From pet products to groceries, there is something for everyone who is looking to support.
