Hispanic Heritage Month is a prominent moment for Latinos to recognize the contributions, history and influence that has positively impacted the Hispanic community. Skincare brands understand that skin tones and types vary. I recently tried out these three Neutrogena and Clean & Clear’s products developed by scientists to help diverse consumers achieve healthy-looking skin and here are my thoughts:

First of all, I have extremely oily skin. I mean you would think I just made some chicharrón. I have to wash my face basically every other hour or I’m immediately oily. Recently, I started trying out Clean and Clear’s Morning Burst Ceanser and wow! It is REFRESHING. It’s like a burst of energy washed into my face. I know it’s technically called morning burst, but I have been using it at any time of the day. The scrubs exfoliate my face, so it’s basically two products in one. I no longer feel the need to wash my face a million times a day. The gentle scrubs feel amazing against the skin and definitely wake you up if you need a boost in the morning.
By the way, my mom tried it and stole it immediately so I had to go buy a new one 😂

Now, I don’t usually break out (Gracias má), but when I do, it is impossible to get rid of it. I’ve tried everything and usually have to wait MONTHS for the acne to go away. The Neutrogena Skin Patch to the Neutrogena Stubborn Acne Ultra-Thin Blemish Patches changed my life forever. My acne is small but stubborn, and after using the patch overnight one day, it went away. Magia? Possibly. My skin is as clear as ever. The only thing that might bother you is if you’re a stomach sleeper. It didn’t bother me personally and honestly I forgot I had it on, but I’m a back sleeper so I can’t say for sure.
These patches even cleared my that time of the month stubborn acne that I get when I am stressed y es see tiempo del mes. I would 100% recommend to anyone who has tried everything and nothing had worked to give this a chance. I promise it will change your life.

Now onto my favorite!
The Neutrogena Purescreen+ Mineral UV Tint Face Liquid Sunscreen is amazing!! It has SPF so I don’t have to apply sunscreen that leaves my face looking white. The coverage is light to medium which is perfect for an every day look. My bronzer slides through after putting this product on. There are two Board certified PA and Dematologists who have the following reason for using this product:

Xochitl’s Reason: “I often share this product with my patients who are looking to achieve the full coverage look with the help of SPF. It’s available in 4 shades including light, medium, medium deep and deep.”

I am so used to spending so much dinero on expensive brands, but I will be sticking to this for quite a while for sure! I cannot recommend this enough. It honestly feels like luxury makeup.
