Hispanic Heritage Month inspired cocktails to try this year!

It’s that time of the year again! Hispanic Heritage Month happens every year from September 15th to November 15th.

From delicious Margaritas to refreshing Palomas, we have got you covered with these simple but delicious recipes. Let’s celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a twist!

Real House Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Astral Tequila Blanco
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz Agave Nectar
  • Club Soda

Preparation: Add Astral Tequila Blanco, fresh lime juice and agave nectar to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Top with club soda and garnish with a lime wheel or twist. 

El Mercadito

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe 
  • 1.0 oz Tangerine Juice 
  • 0.5 oz Agave Syrup (amber)
  • 1 Pinch of Chile de Arbol
  • 1 Pinch of Sea Salt 

Preparation: Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until cold. Strain into a coupe glass (no ice).

Squeeze oil of small tangerine peel and place on rim of coupe as garnish.

CÎROC Pina Picante

Ingredients

  •  1.5 oz. CÎROC Mango
  • .75 oz Simple syrup
  • .75 oz Lemon juice 

Preparation:  Pour CÎROC Mango, lemon juice and simple syrup into a mixing glass. Stir, strain and pour into a martini glass.

Tequila Don Julio Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1.5oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco 
  • 1oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.5oz Agave Syrup

Preparation: Prepare a rocks glass and salt rim. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a glass over ice. Garnish.

La Paloma

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Old Parr Aged 12 Years
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 0.75 oz. Spicy Honey Syrup

Preparation: Combine Old Parr Aged 12 Years, fresh lemon juice, fresh grapefruit juice, and spicy honey syrup. Shake with ice, strain into rocks glass. Garnish with sage bouquet.

Chef Omi Hopper’s Whisky Mango Smash

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. The Singleton 12 Year Old
  • 3 oz. Mango Juice
  • 0.5 oz. Lime Juice
  • 0.25 oz.Agave Syrup
  • 2 Dashes Angostura bitters

Preparation: Shake all ingredients (EXCEPT bitters) thoroughly with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube, then dash with ANGOSTURA and Garnish with a mint sprig.

This would pair amazing with some Shrimp Ceviche with Tostones!
