We’re days away until Valentine’s Day, but love is already in the air! Chocolates are flooding the grocery aisles, and fresh blooms are being prepped into stunning bouquets. While these are a great option for boyfriends and girlfriends scrambling to find a romantic gift to buy their loved ones, you can also turn up the heat on Valentine’s Day with a delicious cocktail. Whether you’re looking for a drink that can be paired with your date-night dinner or need a sweet option that’ll impress your sweetheart, we’re sharing some cocktails that make for an excellent V-Day toast. CÎROC Love Supreme

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz CÎROC White Grape  
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime
  • .5 oz Premium Grenadine 
  • .75 oz Curacao 
  • 3 Dashes of Rose Water 

Glassware: Coupe

Garnish: Dehydrated Rose Petal

Method: Shake, serve up and enjoy!

Bulette

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz High West American Prairie Bourbon
  • 0.25 oz Amaro Santa Maria
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Beet Juice
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Pink Peppercorn Syrup
  • 0.25 oz Fresh Ginger Juice
  • 4 Basil Leaves
  • Basil Leaf Garnish

Preparation: 

  1. Muddle 3 basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add all ingredients to the cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
  3. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a basil leaf.

Buchanan’s Pear of Sweethearts

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Buchanan’s DeLuxe 12 YO Scotch Whisky
  • 2 oz Fresh Pear Juice
  • .5 oz Lemon Juice
  • .5 oz Cinnamon Simple Syrup
    • 2-4 Cinnamon Sticks
    • 1 cup Water
    • 1 cup Sugar
  • Prosecco

Glassware: Flute

Garnish: Pear slice

Preparation:

Cinnamon Simple Syrup:

  • Combine cinnamon sticks, water and sugar into a sauce pan and boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for at least 15 minutes, then strain.

Final cocktail:

  1. Add whisky, pear juice, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker.
  2. Add ice and shake.
  3. Strain into a flute.
  4. Top with Prosecco.
  5. Garnish with pear slice.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. Grand Brulot
  • 1 oz. Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz. Cherry liqueur 
  • 1/2 oz. syrup from bourbon cherries
  • 10 drops coffee pecan bitters 
  • 4 Fresh cherries 
  • Spray of Absinthe 

Preparation:

  1. In the bottom of a shaker muddle the fresh cherries with the syrup.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice.
  3. Fine strain into an ice-filled glass.
  4. Top with a spray of absinthe and garnish with bourbon cherries on a pick. 

I.W. Harper Old-Fashioned Romance

Ingredients:                                                                       

  • 1.5 fl oz I.W. Harper
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • 1 fash Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 bar spoon Vanilla Liqueur
  • 1 bar spoon Coffee Demerara

Glassware: Ice-filled old-fashioned glass

Garnish: Orange peel, 3 coffee beans                               

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in an old-fashioned glass, add ice and stir.          

Pomegranate Ginger Bubbly

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 can Spicy Ginger Volley
  • ½ oz. triple sec
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Top with pomegranate juice

Preparation: Garnish with an orange and/or lime wheel and pomegranate seeds
