Rosario Dawson, Victor Cruz, and CÎROC urge people to hit the polls
Election Day is upon us. With only days away until the highly-anticipated presidential election, Rosario Dawson, Victor Cruz, and a few other A-listers are joining CÎROC‘s campaign #CÎROCStands to encourage people to make sure they are heard by going out to vote. The brand is amplifying the voices of stars like the Latina activist to motivate others to exercise their voting rights through social media and billboards across major cities.
On Wednesday, Dawson took to Instagram to share an inspiring photo of herself holding a sign to urge her one million followers to become changemakers. The sign read: “Don’t let your silence ring louder than your vote #circostands.”
Victor Cruz also used his social platform to tell his followers they can make a difference during this election. “I am excited to join my friends at @CIROC to amplify powerful messages that celebrate the Black community through #CIROCStands once again. This election season, we want to make sure everyone celebrates their freedom to stand up, speak up and vote, by making sure they have a voting plan to exercise their most essential right – their right to vote,” the former American football player wrote.
Also teaming up with the brand to raise awareness on the impact of casting a ballot is actress Amanda Seales, radio personality Angela Yee, DJ D-Nice, and many more. Because voting can be a bit confusing, CÎROC is partnering up with HeadCount to give people access to voting assistance resources to help them vote with confidence. Those interested in receiving help can text CIROC to 40649 to get all voting questions answered (data and message rates may apply.)
