That’s right, ladies! Prince Royce is officially a married man. The Dominican singer and his novia of eight years, Emeraude Toubia, tied the knot in a secret wedding in Mexico City. Confirming their union, the newlyweds took to Instagram to share their first wedding photo, which also happens to be the cover People en Español’s latest issue.

The tear-jerking picture shows the Mexican-Lebanese beauty rocking a lace, sweetheart neckline gown with a stunning diamond-encrusted tiara, while Royce, whose real name is Geoffrey Royce Rojas, sported an elegant black tuxedo.

In a rare interview with Univision’s Sal y Pimienta, the private couple revealed they first crossed paths at a restaurant.

“We met at a restaurant with other friends a long time ago,” the bachatero said, according to the Latin Times. Toubia clarified their initial meeting, adding, “He wanted to meet another girl, but I got there first.” To which Royce responded, “And that is the story.”

While the couple never confirmed their engagement, rumors started swirling in 2017 when news outlets claimed the singer popped the question and gave the Shadowhunters star a $100,000 sparkler.
