Obama Shows J Balvin Some Love During Rally in Las Vegas

Looks like we aren’t the only ones obsessed with J Balvin. During Monday night’s rally in Las Vegas in support for Nevada Democrats, Barak Obama proved he is a huge fan of the Colombian singer.

“Who doesn’t love J Balvin and reggaeton,” the former president can be heard asking the audience. “I was backstage, fortunately, there was no camera going when I was jamming.”

The 33-year-old singer couldn’t contain his excitement and shared a photo of himself rocking a while t-shirt with the words “REGGAETON,” alongside Obama.

However, this is not the first time Obama has praised the Colombian-born singer. On New Year’s Eve, 44 shared a list of songs that “got him moving” throughout 2017, which included popular tracks from Latin artist such as “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi,  “Havana” by Camila Cabello, and, of course, “Mi Gente” by J Balvin.

The rally, which took place at the University of Nevada, urged young people and Latinos, a key demographic for Democrats, to vote in November’s elections. The event featured performances from the Balvin, singers Salt-N-Pepa, and a speech from actress America Ferrera.
