Anitta Drops New Album ‘Kisses’ Featuring Becky G and Other Latin Artists
La sensación de la favela salió a romper frontera. On Friday, Anitta, born Larissa de Macedo Machado, released her highly-anticipated album “Kisses” and it will soon become your new Latin anthem. Breaking barriers in music globally, the new album features 10 brand new tracks in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
Anitta, who is most streamed Brazilian artist on Spotify, has become one of the hottest Latin artists of the moment. From collaborating on J Balvin’s hit single Machika to performing Downtown live at Premio Lo Nuestro 2018, there’s no sign that the 26-year-old is slowing down anytime soon.
“There are times I seem to multiply, aren’t there? There’s a little bit of each one of these Anittas in me,” the brasilera told ET. “It’s a very special trilingual album I’ve worked very hard on to make perfect and express many facets of who I am at this moment. I hope everybody will enjoy it and have a good time with me.”
Of course, in true Anitta fashion, her audiovisual album features talented collaborators — including Becky G. While we were excited to see our favorite mexicana on her new album, Kisses also features newlywed Prince Royce, Alesso, Swae Lee, Papatinho, Caetano Veloso, Ludmilla, Dj Luian & Mambo Kingz, Chris Marshall, and even Snoop Dogg.
