Baseball Player Jose Canseco Accuses Newly-Engaged Alex Rodriguez of Cheating on Jennifer Lopez
Uh-oh! Looks like there could be trouble in paradise for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. Only a day after announcing their highly-anticipated engagement, A-Rod has been accused of cheating on his novia of two years.
According to a tweet posted by former MLB star Jose Canseco, Rodriguez has been unfaithful to Lopez with his ex-wife, Jessica Canseco.
“Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is,” Canseco wrote on Sunday night.
The 54-year-old continued to stir the pot by claiming he was hanging out with his ex-esposa of three years when she received a call from the ball player. “I was there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone,” he said in a series of tweets.
Of course, the allegations did not stop there. The Cuban-American athlete went as far as offering to take a lie detector test to prove everything he was stating was true.
Not only is the timing a bit suspicious, given that Rodriguez proposed to the pop superstar a day earlier during their romantic getaway in the Bahamas (did you get a glimpse of the blinding ring? #Goals), in the past Canseco has made wild accusations against the father-of-two.
In his 2008 book, “Vindicated,” the 1988 American League MVP claimed he introduced Rodriguez to “a known supplier of steroids” and accused him of trying to get with his wife. While the Dominican heartthrob immediately shut down the rumors, he was suspended for the entire 2014 season when he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs during a drug test.
Neither J.Lo or Rodriguez have commented on the cheating rumors. Let’s just hope son mentiras and the Bronx beauty will finally get her happily ever after.
