1. Elite
Calling all Gossip Girl fans! Netflix’s latest Spanish-language teen drama ‘Elite‘ takes place in an exclusive private school that is notorious for –you guessed it– wealth, power, and scandals. Things begin to take a turn for the worst when three students from working-class families – Samuel (Itzan Escamilla), Nadia (Mina El Hammani) and Christian (Miguel Herrán) – enroll into Spain’s most elite high school after their old school got destroyed by an earthquake. Of course, no teen drama is complete without a murder mystery to be solved.
2. La Casa De Papel
There is a reason why La Casa De Papel is Netflix’s most viewed foreign series of all time. The show, which quickly gained global success, follows the story of “The Professor” who plans to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history – to break into Spain’s Royal Mint and print billions of euros. The criminal mastermind enlists the help of eight heist men and women–Tokyo, Rio, Berlin, Moscow, Nairobi, Oslo, Helsinki, and Denver–to carry out the heist over the course of several days.

María, gives viewers a look into the love story of Alberto Márquez (Miguel Ángel Silvestre), the heir of Galerías Velvet, a prestigious fashion houses in the Spain of the late 1950s, and Ana Rivera (Paula Echevarría), a seamstress who works there. 5. Gran Hotel
Dubbed the “Spanish Downtown Abbey,” el Gran Hotel is series set in the early 1900s that follows Julio (Yon González) who arrived at the Hotel to search for his sister, a maid who has gone missing. Throughout the journey, he’ll uncover dark secrets among the family who owns the hotel and the staff works there.
