Rosalia exudes natural glamour at the 2021 Met Gala: Get the look

The Met Gala returned on Monday night paying tribute to American designers. Fashion’s biggest event opened its doors once again after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Celebrities made their way to the museum to offer their own interpretations of this year’s theme: “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” Rosalia was one of the many celebrities who dazzled at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Vogue’s annual event. The Spanish singer made her Met Gala debut in a head-turning red leather look created by American designer Rick Owens. The fringe ensemble was accessorized with matching thigh-high leather boots, gloves, and a leather cloak.

Not only did Rosalia offer a great interpretation of the Met Gala theme for 2021, she gave us one of our favorite natural makeup looks of the night. Leaving most of the attention on her head-to-toe leather outfit, makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench opted for a glowing look. “We wanted a natural, effortless beauty with a wet eyelid and a beautiful nude lip. All very tonal,” Ffrench shared. Rosalia’s makeup artist revealed she gave the songstress a certain glow with the help of some cult-favorite MAC products.

To achieve her glowing complexion, her base was perfected using MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 in NC15. Ffrench also used MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Plush to give the skin a dimensional but natural finish. MAC Lip Pencil in Stone and Matte Lipstick in Yash helped create Rosalia’s perfect pout.
